We are thrilled to present the Colour Research Colloquium – What Colour Means – What Colours Mean, a dynamic interdisciplinary event bringing together young scholars and researchers to explore the multifaceted nature of colour as both a sensory perception and a cultural signifier.
The colloquium will take place online on February 20, 2025, from 16:30 to 20:30 CET, featuring engaging presentations and discussions with scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds. Our speakers include Prof. Dr. Susanne Marschall, Dr. Elena Mucciarelli, Prof. Dr. Priscilla Layne, M.A. Devinn Hurley, Phd. Casandra Boldor, and Anita Back, a Berlin-based artist and photographer.
We are excited to share the finalised program, which showcases a wide range of thought-provoking topics, from colour analysis in experimental films and comics to phenomenological reasoning and cyanotype exploration.
Whether you’re attending as a participant or a listener, we invite you to join us for an inspiring exchange of ideas. If you’d like to attend, please reach out to us at submission@colourturn.net.
