Our fourth Colour Research Colloquium continues to build on last year’s momentum, with growing interest, engaged discussions, and new connections emerging across fields.

On February 25th, we move from colour perception and constancy (David Briggs), to ritual and cinematic intensity (Kexin Chen on Santa Sangre), to questions of naturalness and colour in film (Charles Ledlaire). After a short break, we shift toward urban ecologies and greening practices (Rawan Alsaffar).

As always, we also invited an artist for the final presentation: Peter Holzhausen. In his art he approaches colour from a perceptual position that differs from normative ways of seeing, opening to new ways of seeing and feeling colour.

After the presentations we’re opening the space for a roundtable discussions and making new connections.

12:00–approx. 16:00 (CET / UTC+1, Berlin time)
